Sport Fishing Event Introduction

Participate in a ten-day event and get a chance to compete against other players in groups of 30 for additional rewards. You'll also unlock two new profile pictures at your Town Hall for participation. Happy Fishing!

Sport Fishing Event Guide

Fill townspeople's orders to get colorful bottle caps, make lures with caps at the temporary Lure Shop, use lures in the fishing zones to catch fish, and catch as many fish as possible to earn valuable rewards!

• 1. Each boat has different fish that match the color of lures.
• 2. The lures match the colors of fish at the fishing site.
• 3. Drag any lure into the water to start fishing.
• 4. Hold the float button to raise the slider, then tap it quickly aiming to keep it in the colored area.
• 5. The fish is caught when the timer is all red and in the colored area.
• 6. Three more tips on how to catch fish from Playrix.
• 7. Wait 2 hours for new fish at a fishing site when it's empty or use bait.

Sport Fishing Tips

You can fish from any of the 3 boats. You can see what fish are in each zone and make lures to catch them. Use matching lures to catch red, green, and blue fish. Drag a lure to the water to catch fish of that color.

Fishing Method 1: Tapping
Hold the float button to raise the slider slightly above the colored area, then tap quickly to keep the slider in the colored area. Tap the float button faster if the colored area is smaller.

Fishing Method 2: Hold and Release
Hold the float button down until the slider reaches the top. Then time when you release it, so it ends up in the colored area when the time is up. You can learn the timing and tap less frequently.

If the slider is outside of the colored area you will catch a Grey Cod. If the timer stops (all red) while in the colored area you will catch the fish. If you catch all fish in a zone you can wait 2 hours or use bait.

Sport Fishing Lure Shop

You can make up to 3 lures at a time for free, and 6 in total by expanding the slots for cash. It's good to make a bunch of lures before fishing, or make specific lures for the different colored fish left at fishing boats.
Slot 1 is 20 Tcash, Slot 2 is 30 Tcash and Slot 3 is 40 Tcash. (Only lasts for the duration of event)

Sport Fishing Fish and Weights

The fishes weight is random and can vary from grey (least) to gold weight (most). The size of the colored area determines the weight of the fish. A larger colored area is typically grey or bronze and the smaller or smallest is a silver or gold. Grey Cod, grey weight is the least while Red Bass, gold weight is the most weight you can earn.

Personal Event Rewards

Keep catching fish to pick up additional rewards. You’ll also earn a reward for participating in the fishing tournament, though the size of your reward will depend on where you finish. After the 5th stage the race continues and you will get new goals and rewards as long as you go on. The rewards are random after 5th stage.

Great news! An inter-town fishing tournament is under way! Join others to compete for the title of best fisherman and get additional rewards. Go to the Competition tab and compete against 29 real players. If you place in the top three by the end of the event, you will receive special rewards.
